Mariesa Coppola
Senior Vice President, General Counsel & Corporate Secretary
Mariesa Coppola is Curia’s Senior Vice President, General Counsel and Corporate Secretary and a member of the company’s executive team overseeing a global team of legal, intellectual property and compliance professionals. She also is the executive co-sponsor of Curia’s environmental, social and governance (ESG) program, guiding a cross-functional committee charged with implementation of both short-term and long-term sustainable initiatives.
An experienced attorney and executive, she has been with Curia for over a decade and has had roles of increasing responsibility and scope since she joined Curia in 2012. Prior to being named Senior Vice President, General Counsel & Corporate Secretary she held the position of Vice President, Deputy General Counsel and Compliance Officer at Curia overseeing strategy and governance for the company’s compliance and enterprise risk programs, as well as overseeing and managing global corporate governance and corporate functions.
Mariesa received her Juris Doctorate from Albany Law School and Bachelor of Science from Le Moyne College. She is a member of the New York State Bar.
