Gerald Auer

Gerald Auer joined Curia in 2024 as Chief Financial Officer. He brings a wealth of experience in global financial operations, strategy development and business operations. Prior to Curia, Gerald served as CFO at Al Dahra, a company specializing in agribusiness. Gerald was CFO of the Crop Science division for the EMEA region at Bayer, a life science company focused on health care and agriculture, and CFO for Bayer Switzerland. He spent more than 20 years at Bayer, where held leadership roles in its finance organization across different regions, including EMEA, North America and Latin America. His experience also includes working at Aventis, Rhône-Poulenc in Germany and Stern & Company in Panama.

Gerald studied at the University of Marburg in Germany, where he earned his master’s degree in business administration.
