Curia Establishes Office of the CEO

Albany, NY – October 1, 2026 – Curia Global, Inc. (Curia), a leading contract research, development and manufacturing organization, today announced that Philip Macnabb has stepped down as CEO effective as of September 30, 2026. The Company’s search for a new CEO has been underway, and the Company has established the Office of the CEO to oversee the executive team in the interim.

The Office of the CEO will be comprised of Daniel Silvers (Chair of the Company’s Transaction Committee of the Board; Managing Member at Matthews Lane Capital Partners LLC), Brian Teets (incoming Chief Transformation Officer; Managing Directorat Alvarez & Marsal) and Gerald Auer (Curia Chief Financial Officer).

Daniel Silvers is the Founder and Managing Member of Matthews Lane Capital Partners LLC. Silvers brings extensive executive experience to Curia, having served across a variety of industries, including healthcare, hospitality, gaming and more. In 2015, he was featured in the National Association of Corporate Directors’ “A New Generation of Board Leadership: Directors Under Age 40” list of emerging corporate directors. 

Brian Teets is a Managing Director with Alvarez & Marsal with over 20 years of experience supporting companies through complex financial and organizational situations. His primary areas of expertise include liquidity management, financial planning and analysis, working capital management, and business plan review and development. His engagements have spanned multiple industries, including healthcare, retail, oil & gas, financial services and manufacturing.

Gerald Auer has been Curia’s CFO since 2024 and oversees the company’s global financial operations. He has more than 20 years of experience leading finance organizations in different regions, including EMEA, North America and Latin America. Auer most recently led Curia through a recapitalization transaction, securing new capital for the company.
