Ronald Aungst
Vice President, Operations, Drug Product
Ron Aungst is a 20+ year veteran of Curia, having joined the company in 2002 as a senior research scientist in drug discovery in Albany, NY. Throughout his career, he has helped lead several sites in Singapore, Hungary, India, Spain, and the U.S. He spent over six years in other senior roles, including management of the Global Project Management team, and was the program lead for the introduction and commercial manufacture of a major global COVID-19 vaccine to help address the pandemic.
He has worked closely with Curia’s Drug Product business unit since 2014, including roles as Senior Director of Global Project Management, VP of Portfolio and Sourcing, and, most recently, as VP of Business Unit Operations since June 2023.
His current role as VP, Drug Product, is to lead sales and operations for four sites (Albuquerque, Burlington, Camarillo, and Glasgow). Ron earned a BA in Chemistry and Biology from Lycoming College and his Ph.D. in Synthetic Organic Chemistry from Penn State University.
